Hythe & District
Rotary Club is through to the Quarter Finals of the District Boules
Competition after beating Bransgore Rotary 4-1 in a match played at The
Gleneagles in Butts Ash.
The more
experienced Bransgore team were taken somewhat by surprise by the relative
novices in the home side, with Hythe winning all three pairs matches and
one out of two triples. Hythe will now face Lymington in the quarter
finals.
Hythe team:
Peter Goodwin, Mike Newland, Les Sharpe, Janice Taylor, John Williams,
Bryan Wilson, Wilf Wright.
