After 3
years as Club secretary, Margaret is taking on the role of President for
the second time. Originally from
Weston-super-Mare Margaret has lived on the Waterside since 1969, apart
from 3 years in the early 70s when her husband Maurice’s job as a Chartered
Accountant with Price Waterhouse took them to Zambia. 12 years ago Margaret
had a change of career, taking on the role of Public Relations Officer for
the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, a more than full time job. She is
also Chairman of Governors at a secondary Special Needs school. In her limited spare time she enjoys
spending time with her grown up children and indulging in her favourite –
and only – sporting activity, skiing.
